Hi, I’m Stefanie Elliott — a BC Interior-based design enthusiast, DIY creator, and farmhouse dreamer living in beautiful Kamloops, British Columbia.Interior design has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

I grew up watching my dad, a carpenter and custom home builder, transform empty lots into custom homes. While he focused on the structure and craftsmanship, I became fascinated with how a space felt once it was complete. That’s where my passion truly began.

But design isn’t my only background.For the past 13 years, I’ve worked in mental health, supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging seasons. Through that work, I’ve seen firsthand how deeply our environments affect our mood, stress levels, relationships, and overall family well-being. A chaotic space can heighten anxiety. A dark space can impact motivation. A warm, intentional space can create calm, connection, and healing.

That understanding shapes every design I create.I believe your home should be a place of restoration — a soothing, grounding space that supports your mental and emotional well-being. My approach blends thoughtful design with calming palettes, natural textures, and functional layouts that make everyday life feel lighter.

Over the years, every home I’ve owned has “spoken” to me in its own way. I don’t follow trends just for the sake of it. Instead, I listen to the character of a home and enhance its original beauty. I use original design ideas and incorporate budget-friendly DIY projects to elevate what’s already there, while intentionally highlighting sentimental and meaningful objects so your space tells your story.

Right now, I’m creating my own farmhouse-inspired home — warm woods, calming neutrals, handcrafted elements, and layered textures that feel welcoming and peaceful. With two wonderful children and a loving fiancé who helps physically bring my projects to life, design is truly a family journey.
