Hallway/ Entrance Glow Up

Simple Paint, Statement Hooks & Custom Photography

Your hallway is the first impression of your home — and for the longest time, mine felt unfinished and forgotten. It wasn’t bad… it just wasn’t intentional.

This glow up proves you don’t need a full renovation to completely transform a space.

The Foundation: Fresh Paint

The biggest impact came from paint.

I used Intense White and Accessible Beige from Sherwin-Williams to create a soft, welcoming contrast.

Intense White keeps the space feeling bright and airy without being stark.

Accessible Beige adds warmth and depth without overpowering the hallway.

Together, they create that calming, neutral backdrop that works beautifully with wood tones, black accents, and farmhouse-inspired decor.

The result? Clean. Cohesive. Elevated.

Functional Detail: Statement Hooks

Function was just as important as style in this entryway.

I installed black wall hooks from Home Depot to keep jackets, bags, and everyday items organized. Instead of hiding storage, I leaned into it.

The matte black hardware adds subtle contrast against the neutral paint palette and gives the space a modern farmhouse feel. Simple, affordable, and practical — exactly how I like my projects.

Custom Photography: Personal, But Recreateable

One of my favourite details in this hallway is the wall art.

Instead of buying mass-produced prints, I used my own photography to create a cohesive gallery wall. It adds personality and makes the space feel uniquely ours.

But here’s the best part — you can recreate this exact look by shopping similar digital prints on Etsy. Search for:
